How do you have it?
White or black?
Sugar? How many?

Personally I'm a skim milk and none kind of girl.

But I like a LOT of coffee with that skim.

How about you?

Enjoy this cuppa while I think about the next post. My mate Tony recently gave me a lot to think about, with the writing and such. And now I'm thinking, but not really writing.

I don't expect that to make sense to anyone else.

That's why I'm serving coffee.

Espresso, ideally a "due ristretti" with two lumps o' sugah.

I happen to love milk and cream and all the members of the dairy kingdom.

But not with coffee.

Thanks.

Strong, stove top espresso with milk. I like Rev but we have full cream on account of the child. Luke warm. Just finished and waiting for the buzz to kick in so I can finish getting ready for work.

I'll have a skim latte thanks. It has to be like my men - white and hot ;) Hee hee!

And could I have some toasted banana bread on the side???
Thanks :)

I'll just settle back then and wait for your writing to appear.

Coffee - skim latte, two sugars. Yeah, not a huge coffee drinker.

Tea - black, one sugar. Much more a tea drinker and after a bad high school common room powerdered milk experience some time around the fall of the Berlin Wall, cannot abide milk in my tea any more, in any circumstances.

A pot of English Breakfast tea (or Orange Pekoe), tea leaf strainer, skim milk and a lot of sugar - and a good book and comfy chair please :-)

At home, I make it skim with none.

Out, I like a creamy full-fat café latté, again holding the sugar.

I hope you'll be a good waitress and hurry back soon now, y'hear ?!

I like a Long Black, not too strong, no sugar.

What IS it with all these Tea drinkers??
We only keep herbal here, usually.

But lately, all comers have wanted Tea- normal Tea! So ...we had to get some.
Cant offend the guests!

It's tea for me too. Don't drink coffee much. White and not too strong, no sugar... aah, bliss!

(The day my eldest learnt to make a cup of tea was the happiest of my parenting life!!)

At home - Instant coffee 1 and a bit teaspoons ( I know if you haven't put the extra bit in!!) lots of milk and no sugar!! If my coffee has been stirred with the same teaspoon that just stired a coffee with sugar - I will know too!! Mind you I will only drink half the cup anyway!!!

Tea - all kinds of herbal ones, flavoured ones and only chai with milk. Again don't need sugar - I am sweet enough!!

English Breakfast. White with one.

Fuck, you're writing a book aren't you?

Excuse the profanity, I don't know what came over me.

Fuckit, yes I do. Envy and self loathing I believe.

Light roast, with a TON of milk and one splenda. A teeny bit of vanilla sugar if you have some. :)

Thanks for the coffee (strong decaf or Irish, English or Earl Gray tea, half n half please) and I have a question.
Does one soak the tater pot prior to roasting the taters? If so, I think I could use my clay chicken roaster ... ? Or is the top too high (unless I did enough spuds to feed a Irish family with hangers on...

Gosh, I could really do with a cuppa now!
I love posts like this, they appeal to my sense of dislocation...

N

PS white, one sugar, please!

Believe it or not, I've never had a coffee. Like the smell of roasted coffee; hate the taste.

Tea, please, hot or cold. With a little brown sugar. ;-)

Blogger kt said...

A dark roast, please, with half-and-half.

How the hell did you know that I just walked away from the kitchen thinking, "Hmm, it's 9 PM and I want a cup of joe...."?

And I second Suse's profane explosion as your post led me to the same conclusion....

Publishing in your future, dearie? Coooooool!

She's not writing a blog, that's for damned sure.

(Writing a blog is the only way I'll ever write a book.)

I went into Doll House for a Sherri Hill dress and I had the worst time. The staff was rude and no help to me – they made me feel as if I didn’t belong into their store. I well never return there and I am glad I didn’t purchase my dress from that store.
